Traditional music and dance for every occasion

The Angels of the North are one of the Northeast's best-loved ceilidh bands. Our repertoire includes well-known songs, tunes and dances from Northumbria, Ireland, Scotland, Southern England and further afield. We have been playing together, mostly in Newcastle, Northumberland and County Durham for over a quarter of a century.

We are pleased to play for weddings, anniversaries or any gathering that needs music and dancing. Our aim is turn your event into a celebration.

Our ceilidhs are designed to be fun for everyone. Our experienced caller will talk you through the dances and even your least experienced guests and non-dancers will have a fantastic time.
