Adam Holden

Adam Adam is a guitarist and songwriter living in Gateshead. Whilst at school, Adam played in orchestras and sang in choirs at the excellent (but not as prestigious as it sounds) Newham Academy of Music in East London. Thankfully he no longer plays the violin, but his enthusiasm for music and music-making remains. The two may be linked. Adam started teaching himself to play guitar when he was 12 or so, but has only recently realised that it's going to take another 30 years to get the hang of it. And (always) one more guitar. Having grown a beard, he was inexorably drawn in to folk music. In addition to playing with the Angels, Adam writes songs and performs both solo and in a duo with Maurice Condie.
