Kon Conrad
Guitar / Vocals / Percussion
Kon was a founder member of the Angels and probably the most enthusiastic vocalist
who has played with the band.
He bought the raw energy of punk rock to traditional material giving it new contemporary excitement.
He is still the only member of the Angels to have sported a Northumbrian kilt on stage.
The Angels are indebted to Kon for holding the band together whilst Noel
needed emergency open heart surgery in 2011.
Since he has left the Angels Kon has acquired a Breedlove mandolin which has a very seductive sound,
even when you play punk rock on it.
